A federated cloud (cloud federation) is the deployment and management of multiple cloud computing services to match business needs. In our lab, the vCPE solution was deployed and characterized on such environment. Using Contrail Federation to connect two Openstack clouds. Communication will go through set of ovs switches configured by ODL and VNF launched inside first OpenStack cloud then goto peer to peer network between two clouds, to the router of cloud2 and go out to Juniper MX router.
